就在2010年的六月,他从来没参加过任何比赛,纯碎以一个为获取更多经验的心态下参加了马来西亚国际魔术大会,此大会的参赛者都是来是世界各地不同国家的好手,结果在此比赛中幸运的获得了季军,从而认识了不少同好,以及后来身边帮助,鼓励,支持他不少的贵人.
从此以后,他常出席国内外大大小小的魔术大会,成为魔术圈的中坚份子,也因此认识了一群亲如家人的好朋友,彼此互相帮忙,鼓励与进步.直到2011年10月在他们的支持下飞到中国杭州去参加当时的国际魔术比赛,这次参赛者的实力更是比之前的高处很多,其中包括不少来自各国的冠军,以及后来世界魔术入选赛的优胜者.结果也在此比赛中幸运的获得了铜奖.也成为了马来西亚魔术史上第一位从海外国际近景魔术比赛中把奖项带回国的魔术师.
从此经验中,让他对自己的魔术流程信心大增,也一口气购下了好几个国家的航空机票,准备参加接下来亚洲水準数一数二的国际赛事.Jones 在2011年10月尾至2012年5月尾短短的半年里获得了5个赛事的奖项,接下来还会到几个不同的国家参加比赛.希望在2012年完毕之前,为自己的魔术道路上写下精彩的一页.
